This 2-day workshop is intended for participants familiar with the basics of coding and/or microcontrollers. It exposes participants to Arduino programming and hands-on integration of technology with solutions to real world problems. How can microcontrollers and wearable technology be used to engage in creating solutions to real world problems? And how can we use these tools to engage our students in this learning? This workshop provides participants with an in-depth understanding of coding, microcontrollers and wearable technology.
Learn some basics of programming microcontrollers and creating circuits using the Arduino board
Gain some knowledge on practices, projects and assessments for teaching wearable technology
Create a wearable prototype of their own by applying it to a real world problem
